Mission

Who we are.

The CASA program is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for the best interest of children involved in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court process. CASA of Henry County, Patrick County, and the City of Martinsville is a non-profit organization that recruits, screens, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in court proceedings. The program promotes safe, permanent homes for all children and seeks to educate the community concerning the needs of abused and neglected children.

Imagine... You are 7 years old and you are sleeping in a car at night with no blankets. You are hungry and you don't know when you are going to eat again.  Your parents are arrested for drugs and you are put in a foster home with strangers. Who is going to help you?

To give a child a CASA is to give them a voice.

To give them a voice is to give them hope.

And to give them hope is to give them the world.

- Pamela Butler, former foster youth
